The Nabiac–Tuncurry Crawl

An easy early drive to Nabiac's showground stalls, then the waterfront spread at Tuncurry — a satisfying two-market morning, done by midday.

Fourth Saturday of the month, when it's also the last — next: Saturday 26 September 2026 · 2 stops · ★ 5 (1)
This one earned its place the honest way: built and driven by our founder on a winter Saturday, talking to every stallholder along the way. The shape of the day is simple — Nabiac from 8, an unhurried look around the showground stalls, then the short highway run north to Tuncurry for the waterfront markets, and back on the road by midday. One note for your calendar: Nabiac runs the last Saturday of the month and Tuncurry the fourth, so this crawl lines up in months with four Saturdays — check the dates before you set the alarm.

🚗 Watch for the speed radar between Nabiac and the Tuncurry turnoff — they like to catch early birds.
1

Nabiac Farmers Market

Suggested: 8:00 – 9:30 AM
Last Saturday of each month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Nabiac Showground, Nabiac NSW 2312
Farmers · Artisan
Crawler's tip: Off the highway, up through the town, and a right-hook turn to the showgrounds and cattle yards. Park up — it's a bit of a walk back to the market entrance — and enjoy that classic Aussie stockyard showground entry. Give yourself a good 45 minutes: grab an organic coffee and be tempted by gourmet teas, meats, healthy produce and tasty sweet treats.

Tuncurry Market

Suggested: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Fourth Saturday of each month, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
John Wright Park, Tuncurry NSW 2428
Farmers · Artisan · Community · Waterside
Crawler's tip: Coming in from the highway, park before the second set of shops before the curve — once you can see the market tents, you're committed to going over the bridge and coming back! The stalls spread along the waterfront: artisans and curators, delicate butterfly décor, fairy face painters, and the Marine Rescue crew ready to help visitors to the region. Even in winter you'll be tempted by ice cream on the water — and if the stalls don't catch your tastebuds, the corner shop serves hot food if you're quick enough to catch them open. A little sprawled with a few vacant spots in winter, but come the warmer months this one packs out.
